Re: Travel from Oslo to Helsinki. Train and ferry would be a one day and one night affair; train takes a bit under 6 hours + then an overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. These ferries are more like cruise liners than traditional simple ferries. Stockholm archipelago is stunning, as is also arrival in Helsinki in the morning.
