I tried, but Monterey and a third party NVME on an Early 2015 MacBook Pro causes battery drain in sleep mode. Also tried with installing first on original SSD to update the firmware and than installing on the Crucial P1 - nothing. Over night it looses more than 20% in eight hours. With the original one 0-1% only.
I've got an early 2015 MBP, which I know is a computer that's well-liked in this community. Old enough to still have magsafe, plenty of ports, and a decent keyboard. New enough to still have pretty competitive specs. But honestly, mines starting to show its age. The screen has all of these scratches and marks that have shown up over the past year.
