Purchased in 2007. 28,0000 miles now. Getting 60mpg and still purrs. Sometimes you are smart and sometimes you are lucky. I was lucky in that the Spirit in the fall of 07 was nicely discounted by Honda.

I have a 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit- tha manual said the oil capacity is 2.5 qts, but when i recently changed it and replaced the filter the oil level was too low..does anyone know if the capacity of 2.5 qts incls an oil filter change too?
